Optional Fields and Validation Tables

The ACCPAC Advantage Series Optional Fields and Validation Tables module allows you to customize ACCPAC records and data entry forms to include fields that you define for your own business needs. For example, you can add a text field to contain a service contract number, and then add a date field for the date the service contract will expire.

When setting up optional fields, you can choose to link them to optional tables, which allows you to use a Finder to look up and validate field entries.

Optional fields are supported in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Order Entry, Inventory Control, and Purchase Orders. Each product supports up to eight optional fields, including six text fields, an amount field and a date field.

Multicurrency

The optional ACCPAC Advantage Series™ Multicurrency module delivers powerful and comprehensive multicurrency accounting functions. Sophisticated currency management, and the ability to process transactions in any number of currencies, give your business the global competitive edge.

Powerful features of the Multicurrency module include:

  • Unlimited rate types
  • Ability to print reports in both functional and source currencies
  • Complete support for the euro, as well as full EMU accreditation
  • Ability to enter transactions in any currency

National Accounts Management

The ACCPAC Advantage Series™ National Accounts Management module allows you to use Accounts Receivable to process single payments from a customer's head office and apply it to the subsidiary accounts. The module also lets you limit the amount of credit you extend to a company in one step.

During receipt entry, Accounts Receivable displays the transactions for all members of the national account at once, so you can quickly assign the payment to the applicable customer accounts.

National Accounts Management is an Enterprise Edition module that works with the Enterprise, Corporate, Small Business and Discovery Editions of ACCPAC Advantage Series.
